The Terwa area has been inhabited and worked since the Iron Age. It has attracted people due to its natural beauty and the richness of its soil. Now The Terwa continues this heritage – offering peace and exclusive luxury to today's busy people. The area's history extends all the way to the 6th century BC, and the manor tradition to the 17th century.

Book a private manor peninsula for your event
At Terwa, you can book the entire manor and its surrounding peninsula for private use – solely for the needs of your own group. You can also inquire about a smaller ensemble, building by building, for meetings, events, and retreats.
We are happy to serve groups of 8–50 people in Finnish and English. The main building offers top-class hybrid meeting equipment for up to 30 people, and there are also several smaller meeting and lounge spaces available. The magnificent historical Juhlanavetta, in turn, provides unforgettable settings for daytime events, parties, and seminars for up to 200 people.
The Terwa is easily accessible even from farther away: the journey from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport is about an hour, and from Tampere and Turku less than an hour and a half. The beautiful manor setting in the middle of Finnish lake nature makes the arrival itself part of the experience.
Accommodation is available in 16 high-quality double rooms. With the summer cottage, extra beds, and a separate log villa, the accommodation capacity grows to a maximum of 48 guests.

Our versatile event spaces are easily reachable in just over an hour from Finland's largest cities, and we dare to promise that our beautiful surroundings will exceed your guests' expectations.

The Terwa – Nordic Hideaway is a historic premium-level private hotel on its own 10-hectare private peninsula on the shore of Lake Kaart. Located near Liesjärvi National Park and the Komio nature reserve, the manor offers an exceptional combination of privacy, Finnish nature, history, and high-quality service – only about an hour's drive from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. You can also arrive by helicopter directly to the manor's courtyard. We offer accommodation by reservation for groups meeting or celebrating in 16 double rooms, and with additional accommodation for up to 48 guests.
