The Terwa – Nordic Hideaway a nature and conference resort built on the grounds of a 17th-century kartano
We offer a unique combination of historic kartano atmosphere, modern comfort and natural luxury. Our accommodation options provide a high-quality setting for relaxation, celebration and work.
The entire area is at your disposal
We offer you up to 30 people (can be arranged for up to 50 people) the entire Terwa peninsula for private use for one night as a 1.5-day package at a time that suits you. In this case, there will be no one else there, and if you wish, you can divide the group into two saunas or you can hold a get-together in our personal meeting rooms. The price of €5,950 (incl. VAT) includes Christmas decorations, a welcome drink, saunas, karaoke equipment (DJ for an additional fee), concierge services. Food, drinks and accommodation for an additional fee, depending on the individual. Drinks policy by agreement.

At The Terwa, we offer unforgettable culinary experiences that combine Finnish locally sourced food, handcrafted delicacies, and the manor’s traditional atmosphere. For us, food is more than just a meal – it is part of a holistic experience where pristine nature, local ingredients, and top-quality service come together.
Transportation and reception
VIP transportation from the Helsinki/Tampere area by minibus or charter bus (e.g. 16-seater €480 one way). Additional service: helicopter transportation.
Arrival at 4 pm
Reception of guests in kartano 's courtyard, lighting atmosphere (lanterns, conifer garlands, candles).
Welcome drink: The Terwa mulled wine (lingonberry, cinnamon, juniper berry) and a snack (reindeer bread, warm mushroom pie).

Perfumer – Create your own scent
Enter the magical world of scents and create your own perfume that is as unique as you. At the perfume workshop you will learn how to blend natural essential oils, discover your own scent profile and take home a bottle of your own personalized perfume. Add a touch of Tar. Price à 82 €, min 5 people

Booking and cancellation terms
Confirmation and orders
Catering for the event must be confirmed at least two weeks before the event. The final number of people must be confirmed three (3) business days before the event, which will also be the basis for invoicing the event. We ask that groups order a uniform menu. Reservations can be made by email to myynti@theterwa.com .
Cancellation policy
If a confirmed event is cancelled, we apply the following cancellation policies:
14–7 days before the event 50% of the event value (order/offer)
6–0 days before the event 100% of the event value (order/offer)
Payment
We accept all bank cards accepted in Finland and credit cards include Visa, MasterCard, EuroCard and American Express.
Any invoicing will be agreed in advance. Our invoicing payment terms are 14 days/net and the invoicing fee is €12.60.
We reserve the right to change menus and prices.
Arrival of The Terwa
The Terwa is located on the shores of Lake Kaart, in the municipality of Loppi, which is easily accessible from all over Finland. The journey from Helsinki or Helsinki-Vantaa Airport takes only about an hour, and it is also less than an hour and a half from Tampere and Turku. Check out our transportation options.
There is a helicopter field in The Terwa's yard, which can be accessed by half an hour by a helicopter in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Helsinki CityCopter offers VIP transport as agreed.
When you arrive, you will have clear guidance and parking areas that serve both guests and event guests.
